Profile

Dr. Elenitsa Kitromilides is a full time Assistant Professor in Neuropsychology/Cognitive Psychology at the European University of Cyprus (EUC). Dr. Kitromilides obtained her Ph.D. in 2009 in the field of Cognitive Psychology from the University Pierre-Mendès France, Grenoble, France. Prior to her Ph.D., she obtained a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Cognitive Neuropsychology from the University of Savoie, Chambéry, France (2003), and a Master’s Degree in Cognitive Psychology from the University Pierre-Mendès France, Grenoble, France (2002). In 2000 she graduated in Psychology from the University Pierre-Mendès France, Grenoble, France. Her research interests include the effects of music on dementia and on cognitive functions, and the effects of yoga on neuropsychological functioning. Dr. Kitromilides has also worked on RPF funded projects “The effects of Yoga on inner body awareness, anxiety and quality of relating”.
