Prof. Andrea- Apostolidou Stavroula obtained her Nursing diploma from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
During her studies she awarded three times a scholarship from the Students Agency Workers' Centre.
Prof. Andrea- Apostolidou Stavroula joined European University Cyprus at its establishment (as a private university) in 2008;
Prof. Andrea- Apostolidou Stavroula was appointed in February 1986 as a Lecturer at the TEI (Technological Educational Institute) of Athens and was subsequently promoted through all levels as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor.
Her PhD thesis "S elf-care of patients suffering from Stroke” was published abroad and used by many researchers in Greece and other countries.
Prof. Andrea- Apostolidou Stavroula was Instructor of the EKEPIS and she was Member of the scientific committees of the Conferences of the National Nurses Association in Greece. She was also reviewer of scientific papers in the topics of Psychiatric Νursing, Gerontology Νursing, Rehabilitation Nursing, and Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal Nosileftiki published by the National Nurses Association in Greece. Finally she was Academic Advisor for the Body Responsible for the Recognition of Academic Titles obtained in universities abroad.
She has taught theory classes in Medical Nursing, philosophy, deontology and ethics in undergraduate and graduate program , especially nursing issues of Ph.D in Nursing Program ,Basic Nursing , Gerontological Nursing, Oncology Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, etc.
