Profile

Stephanos Leandrou attained his Bachelor of Science in Medical Radiologic Technology at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. He continued his studies at Oxford University where he received an MSc in Diagnostic Imaging. Since 2013, he is a member of the European University Cyprus.

Nowadays, Stephanos continues his studies towards a Ph.D. degree, focusing in Quantitative Texture analysis on MRI imaging in the assessment of Alzheimer’s disease. His areas of interest mainly consider diagnostic radiology with tomographic imaging modalities such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Computed Tomography. Furthermore, he is interested in medical image analysis and computer-aided diagnosis systems for the detection and diagnosis schemes that improve clinical outcomes.

Stephanos, worked as an MR Technologist in Oxford, UK, and in Private hospitals in Paphos and Nicosia, Cyprus. Furthermore, he has experience on Computed Tomography and, conventional radiography including Mammography and DEXA scans.
