Profile

Born in Cyprus. Mother of two sons. Studied in France and in USA (1976-1993). Has been working as a Speech and Language Pathologist since 1983 both in government and private practice. Has been the administrator and speech pathologist for 25 years of a unique private educational enterprice and has worked in institutes, rehabilitation centers serving both adults and children with communication disorders. Her special interest focus on children with language disorders, development disabilities, developmental disorders (autism), bilingualism, learning disabilities, dyslexia and ADHD. She is specialized on clinical supervision issues, trainings and courses in leadership, mentoring and supervision.

Professor in Speech Pathology Program specialized on Clinical Issues, Trainings and Internships

Currently working on Research entitled: “Σημασία της Σχολικής εντιμότητας για τη σωστή ένταξης των παιδιών στη Δημοτική Εκπαίδευση» with permission from the Ministry of Education to do assessments in preschoolers in Cyprus Primary schools in order to standardize the test. This screening diagnostic tool takes place at the end of the academic school year. It is a school readiness test standardized on Cypriote and Greek populations. The data are now being analysed for the norms and by end of the year it will be published.
