Invitation – Project MENTA50+

Project MENTA50+ aims to provide people over 50 years of age with a supportive framework and develop materials reflecting a holistic approach designed to encourage their increased activity. In doing so, the project will ensure active participation in an ageing society and maximise the accrued benefits of mental wellbeing and mental fitness. Having these in mind, we would like to invite you to the project’s FINAL MEETING which will be held on the 7th of November 2014, at the premises of the European University Cyprus (OMEGA conference room). The meeting will start at 9am and will include presentations from scientists involved in the area of mental fitness as well as workshops from different thematic areas which are used to improve the level of mental fitness of people over 50 years of age.

The aims of the conference are:

  • Disseminate the results of the project
  • Call attention to policy makers on the importance of mental fitness.
  • Present possible solutions to the challenges of an ageing society.

This invitation addresses to adult learners involved in programs empowering their level of mental health, mental fitness providers (ex: individuals coordinating or running programs of mental health), decision makers and professionals (individuals actively involved in mental fitness programs).
