Galileo Global Education

Galileo Global Education is Europe’s largest education group and a global education leader that provides quality higher education to over 170,000 students through its network of 54 institutions around the world. Galileo has 91 campuses including in France, Italy, the UK, Germany, Cyprus, Mexico, China, India and Senegal.

Its network includes pillars of excellence in education such as the Paris School of Business (PSB), Cours Florent and Atelier de Sèvres in France, Instituto de Estudios Universitarios in Mexico, Macromedia University of Applied Sciences in Germany, Istituto Marangoni and the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano, in Italy and, since 2017, European University Cyprus in Nicosia.

Its strategically located institutions and carefully elaborated programs encompass the fields of applied arts and design, digital communication and management, marketing, film and TV, medicine and health sciences, gastronomy, tourism, education, law, and business administration. At the core of Galileo’s philosophy lies the integration of academic preparation with practical applications and placements to provide students the most comprehensive and career-oriented education. Galileo’s students gain significant hands-on experience in their fields of study long before they graduate, thanks to internship programs that allow them to work in their industries of choice. Graduates are therefore rapidly employable managers, scientists, developers, designers and digital experts.

In 2017 Galileo Global Education acquired European University Cyprus. The decision was not only indicative of Galileo’s faith in European University Cyprus’ performance, growth and sustainability but was also proof of the significance of private education’s long-term prospect in Cyprus. It ultimately strengthens the country’s declared vision to become a quality regional education provider and sets solid foundations for Cyprus’ transition into the knowledge economy.
