Leading Scientists Gather at the 13th International Multidisciplinary Biomedical Conference

Organized by the School of Medicine of European University Cyprus with Theme: “Medical School: A Medium of Science and Culture”

The School of Medicine of European University Cyprus (EUC) is hosting the 13th International Multidisciplinary Biomedical Conference “Biomedical Scientific Cyprus”, under the general theme “Medical School: A Medium of Science and Culture.”

The three-day conference will take place at the EUC Campus, from 6–8 November 2025, in collaboration with the Cyprus Medical Association, and under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, the Ministry of Health, and several professional medical associations and patient organizations. The opening ceremony will be held on Thursday, 6 November at 17:00, with conference sessions continuing until Saturday, 8 November 2025.

This year’s conference brings together 80 distinguished speakers of international acclaim from leading medical institutions and universities worldwide.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Dr. Randall Starling, Cardiologist,
  • Prof. John Ioannidis, Epidemiologist,
  • Dr. Constantino Hadjipanayi, Neurologist/Neurosurgeon,

The Conference will conclude with the keynote address by Professor Dr. Valentin Fuster, a world-renowned cardiologist from Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, USA.

The conference program features interactive sessions covering major fields such as cardiology, oncology, vascular medicine, diabetology, neurology, and genetics, including real clinical case studies and open discussions. A special CPR workshop will be offered on Saturday, 8 November, organized by the Cyprus Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Association.

Participants will receive 18 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits accredited by the Cyprus Medical Association and 18 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits from the Biological Society of Cyprus. Participation is free of charge, with on-site registration beginning at 08:00 a.m.
