Orientation 2023

The Fall Semester 2023 Orientation Days (18 – 29 Sept. 2023) aim to help our students in their induction into the new and challenging academic environment.

The Orientation Program is designed to welcome new students to the University community, facilitating the process of settling into a new and unfamiliar environment. Orientation days are organized every semester, two weeks prior to the beginning of classes. Faculty and staff are on hand to show students around campus, advise on University policies and regulations, and discuss the selection of courses.

The program includes a general briefing covering academic procedures and Student Services, workshops on how to handle stress and how to cope with studies and the academic workload. An important part of orientation is the campus tour to familiarize students with the infrastructure and facilities. Students are also invited to take part in a sightseeing tour of the city of Nicosia.
