Graphic Design at EUC

The Graphic Design program at EUC is unique in its character because of its interdisciplinary nature, with considerable overlap between art and design. The program equips students with key professional skills in both printed and digital communication and new media technologies, including, but not limited to, motion graphics, broadcast design and animation. Students learn the fundamentals of illustration, design principles, typography, contemporary art and visual culture and engage in exciting projects relating to experimental typography, branding, comic book design and computer-generated design.

The professional and academic background of the academic staff, student exchanges, design competitions, festivals, expert visits, workshops and conferences contribute to a fruitful, creative atmosphere and expose students to the latest developments and trends in the field of graphic design. Internships help connect fourth-year students with graphic design, advertising and media production firms to gain experience prior to graduation.

Student Testimonials

In my opinion, what makes the graphic design degree in the European University stand out are the very good foundations one receives working with great teachers-professionals, the way they prepared us for the graphic design, out there, on the market,  the richness of aspects through which we approached m graphic design and  the fact that that  this program helped me to get to know myself better as an artist.

Andrea Avgousti

I can say that my experience with the Graphic Design program at the European University was love at first sight. What I remember is that I was very excited to learn how commercials, special effects in movies and cartoons are made. It was an unforgettable experience, the best years of my life so far.

Anthi Koune

The program was everything I expected. Educational, creative, enlightening and defining. The program was an amazing experience from beginning to end! I gained so much from my teachers, fellow students/friends as much as cultivating experiences from all our trips, lectures, creative projects and more. One thing that certainly stood out for me was the amazing relationship between teachers and students throughout all the years and certainly the ability to express yourself freely in the most inventive ways.
