Physiotherapy at EUC
PhD holders in Physiotherapy will be able to work as academics, researchers, scholars, experts or consultants in a variety of Physiotherapy sectors. They can be employed in the public and private sector, in universities and research centers, in decision making and policy formulating centers in voluntary and non-governmental organizations or become self-employed. They could also pursue a career as post-doctorate researchers in European and International research projects and networks which aim to enhance basic and applied research in the field of Physiotherapy, and successfully exploit the major research funding opportunities available.

Call for Submission of Application for Doctoral Studies
The Ph.D. Program of Physiotherapy announces a limited number of places for doctoral studies in the Fall Semester 2021 (commencing October 2021), in one/a combination of the following areas:
  • Manual Therapy
  • Exercise Therapy
  • Biomechanics
  • Neuro-Musculoskeletal Dysfunctions
  • Cardio-Respiratory Dysfunctions

  1. The program is offered in Greek.
  2. Interested applicants are expected to submit a research proposal with their application.
  3. The application is submitted using the special form available from this link

  6. The final selection is based on assessment of the applicant’s qualifications and personal interview(s).
General Information for Doctoral Studies
European University Cyprus announces every academic year a limited number of places for doctoral studies in both Fall and Spring Semester (commencing September and February, respectively). Applications are submitted using the special application form available here link.  All necessary supporting material accompanying the application are described in the application form. Last day for submitting applications:
  • For Fall Semester: Initial deadline: 28th of February per year (if positions remain available, additional applications for these positions are accepted by the 30th of May and the 31st  of August per year)
  • For Spring Semester: 1st of November per year.
