Child and Adolescent Mental Health at EUC
The MSc in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at EUC provides working professionals, and those wishing to work with this demographic, with the analytical skills, working practices and research methods to further the field of psychological health.
The degree program provides students with in-depth knowledge of policy trends and innovative practices in the mental health field as it relates to children, youth and their families. With a strong focus on early intervention as a preventative measure, the program’s core courses develop skills, knowledge and awareness of child and adolescent psychological development. Emphasis is placed on research methods, design and evaluation related to child and adolescent behavioral and developmental health. Under the supervision of department faculty, students participate in specialized research that furthers their knowledge in their chosen field. Graduates are able to contribute to strategies that promote inclusion and protection of children and emerging adults in a variety of agencies or to pursue doctoral studies in related fields.
