Life at university should be exciting! To be able to have a multi-dimensional experience and take advantage of everything your university has to offer, you need to allocate it within your studying schedule. Yes, studying and improving should be up front and center of your focus. But being a part of a university community is so much more than that! Take a look at some extra-curriculum activities you might find that are right up your alley and that will enrich this very important time of your life!

Exercise often.

Take that extra steam off and give our Athletic Center and Gymnastic center a visit. The first is included amongst the best indoor facilities in the country. If you’re into volleyball, basketball, futsal, handball or even korfball, you’ll love it! The latter has just been renovated and there you can really give your physique a run for its money! With more than 30 fitness machines and professional trainers on location, you’ll be getting in shape in no time at all!

Get involved.

EUC offers a range of student clubs which are not only interesting but also aiming to engage students to participate in annual university’s activities. Do not hesitate and join the club today!

Play more.

Find sports activities that excite you. For example, if you love playing tennis, then join a tennis club and find a friend who will be your game partner.

Explore.

Don’t stay in! Go out and learn more about this beautiful island that, believe me, will amaze you! If you do not know where to start, check our latest article Nicosia – Your new home.

In other words, do more than just study! You will find that you are a better student when you are making the most of your university days and when you take some time away from books (well… from tablets and desktops also… but you get the point)!
