European University Cyprus Career Center becomes EURES partner

The European University Cyprus Career Center joined EURES as a partner in October 2019. The purpose of its involvement is to encourage graduates to seek employment opportunities across Europe.

The EURES network is a network of cooperation designed by the European Union to facilitate the free movement of workers within the 28 EU countries, plus Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. This network consists of the European Coordination Office (ECO), the National Coordination Offices (NCO), the EURES partners and the EURES associates.

The integration of the European University Cyprus Career Center into the EURES network is part of the Center’s internationalization actions and will contribute to broadening the work opportunities of university students and graduates in Europe.

The EURES Job Mobility Portal provides resources, actions and services that will enrich the employment opportunities of graduates and contribute to the smooth mobility of the labour force in European countries.

European University Cyprus is ranked 76th by the Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings in the field of Decent Work and Economic Growth which evaluates areas such as Sustainable Development, Student Traineeships and Alumni Employability, while it is ranked among the 101+ best in the field of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Infrastructure (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure).
