The Library strives to:
- Ensure that every EUC student achieves information literacy through visits, tours and instruction, developing research skills to find, evaluate and utilize information
- Provide access to information in physical and electronic format and support users to locate, organize and prioritize electronic information
- Continuously assess and improve the Library’s technology, infrastructure and informational resources as a vital and dynamic part of the university’s programs
- Maintain a safe, comfortable and accessible physical environment conducive to the pursuit of knowledge and exchange of ideas, operating on a convenient timetable.
Currently the Library has over 47,000 titles in print form and over to 300,000 in electronic, covering all areas of study. To assist research, the Library also subscribes to a great number of databases through the single sign-on Open Athens platform. These databases provide users with access to full-text magazines, journals, newspapers, conference proceedings, company reports and many more. The library promotes the research work of the faculty through its repository, Plemochoe, which is an open access institutional repository established for the sole purpose of gathering preserving and distributing original research produced by EUC faculty and researchers. The EUC Library is also a founding member of the Cyprus Academic Libraries Consortium (CALC).
