Meeting of the German Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Education and Research with the Rector of European University Cyprus
The Rector of European University Cyprus, Professor Kostas Gouliamos, met with the German Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Education and Research, Mr Thomas Rachel. The meeting was held at the Bundestag in Berlin.
Mr Rachel’s responsibilities at the Federal Ministry of Education include, among others, the educational sciences system, universities and research organizations, innovation strategies, bioethics and bio-economics, as well as energy and climate research. With Rector Gouliamos they discussed crucial issues relating to the common framework for the structure and operation of the education systems governing the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
Mr Rachel has accepted Rector Gouliamos’ proposal of to participate as keynote speaker at an international forum on education organised next year by European University Cyprus.
