Appointment of the Executive Dean of the Department of Dentistry, European University Cyprus as President of the Scientific Affairs Institute of the Hellenic Dental Association
Dr. Athanasios E. Athanasiou, Executive Dean and Professor of Orthodontics of the Department of Dentistry, European University Cyprus was appointed on the 10th July 2020 by the Board of Trustees of the Hellenic Dental Association (HDA) President of the Scientific Affairs Institute.
The Institute aims to study, facilitate and coordinate scientific affairs, protocols, international guidelines with regard to quality assurance, certification and accreditation of various forms of professional development of dentists including seminars, courses and congresses as well as scientific publications of the members of the HDA.
In the Board of the institute there is representation of the HDA, the two dental schools, the scientific dental associations and the Ministry of Health of Greece.
