Posted: August 4, 2021

European University Cyprus, following a relevant decision of its Senate (83rd Session, 12 May 2021) and in light of the relevant announcement of the Rectors’ Synod, confirms the beginning of the new academic year 2021-22 with the physical presence of the entire academic community at the EUC Campus and offering all conventional study programs with physical presence. This decision is subject to re-evaluation depending on the development of the epidemiological data of the COVID-19 pandemic.

European University Cyprus, following all the latest decrees of the Ministry of Health, is implementing strict health protocols and measures for the safety of students, academic and administrative staff, and visitors to the University based on the constantly changing data of the COVID-19 pandemic. Access to EUC Campus requires a safe pass both for the members of the university community, as well as for visitors of the campus.

In the midst of these unprecedented conditions and in preparation for the new academic year, the top priority of European University Cyprus remains the safety and health of its university community, while at the same time ensuring that the programs of study continue unhindered, in accordance with the highest academic standards. With its decision to start the new academic year 2021-22 with a physical presence, European University Cyprus reinforces the effort of the State, encouraging its academic community to get vaccinated and to assist in the collective effort to stop the spread of the pandemic and its adverse consequences in Cyprus and the world.
