EUC Launches Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Program in New School of Veterinary Medicine

European University Cyprus’ program offerings in all disciplines of medicine and the health sciences have now been enriched by the approval of the DVM degree and the launching of a School of Veterinary Medicine in Nicosia.

The five-year DVM program is fully accredited by the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Higher Education and will begin its new intake in the Fall 2024 semester.  Graduates demonstrate Day One Competencies for Veterinarians as prescribed by the European System of Evaluation of Veterinary Training (ESEVT).

Important features of the program include:

  • Advanced high-fidelity simulation, surgical simulation, advanced task training, virtual imaging and other state-of-the-art laboratory facilities
  • Wide range of external partnerships for clinical training, and elective practical training
  • Early Introduction to animal care, husbandry and clinical practice skills
  • Active learning in small groups with an excellent student: faculty ratio.
  • State-of-the-art EUC Small Animal Veterinary Teaching Hospital
