European University Cyprus Rector invited by Chinese authorities to the 9th World Forum
European University Cyprus Rector, Professor Dr. Kostas Gouliamos, accepted an important invitation from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), which together with the China State Council (i.e. the central government) and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, are co-organising the 9th World Forum on China.
Professor Gouliamos will participate as one of the keynote speakers in the section “The Chinese Road to Modernization”.
It is worth noting that 300 distinguished intellectuals, academics and experts from around the world have been invited to this 9th World Forum to discuss China’s future development through political, economic, social, cultural and international prospects and perspectives.
In a statement, Professor Gouliamos underlined that “this honorary invitation reflects, among others, the importance of the multifaceted relations and the great friendship that have been thoroughly developed in all fields and levels between China and Cyprus”.
The World Forum will be held in Shanghai on 6-7 September 2021.
