The BSc in Accounting at EUC prepares students to achieve great success in today’s accounting industry. Accountants are always in high demand. A valuable and versatile degree, the program’s curriculum covers the most current knowledge and emphasizes the skills needed in the private and public sectors, and to pursue further qualifications through the leading professional accounting bodies—ACCA, ICAEW, AIA and CIMA.
Students earn up to 9 exemptions for the ACCA and up to 12 exemptions for the ICAEW (ACA) while completing their bachelor’s degree to fast-track their completing professional qualifications. Internships connect students with the “Big Four” global accounting firms as well as with other international and local accounting firms, corporations and government sector agencies.

Exemptions from ACCA and ICAEW
Accounting graduates qualify for 12 exemptions out of the 15 papers of the Association of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and 9 of the 13 papers of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).

ACCA–EUC Scholarship and Apprenticeship Program
The ACCA–EUC Apprenticeship Program is an innovative initiative developed by the European University Cyprus (EUC) in collaboration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). This program is further strengthened through strategic partnerships with two of the world’s leading professional services firms—EY Cyprus and KPMG.
Aimed at academically strong and motivated students who wish to pursue undergraduate studies in Accounting, Finance, and related fields, this exclusive program bridges academic learning with real-world professional experience. Through this unique collaboration, selected students will have the opportunity to undertake part-time apprenticeships at EY Cyprus or KPMG, working alongside seasoned professionals in areas such as audit, tax, and advisory services.

Professional Credentials by CFA
The CFA Institute is a global, non-profit organization that sets and upholds the highest professional and ethical standards in the financial industry. It awards the world’s leading professional designation in finance, the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), for which European University Cyprus offers three annual scholarships. In addition to the CFA designation, the CFA Institute provides a range of respected professional credentials, including the Investment Foundations® Certificate. This certificate complements the AEF350 Investments course and equips students with essential knowledge of investment principles, ethics, and industry practices. By earning the Investment Foundations® Certificate, you demonstrate your commitment to academic excellence and professional development.
